So another sweet find here in New York City, make sure to enjoy and report to me on your experiences!!!

NYC Life Coach - Jaclyn Beckerman

Hey,

Anyone who knows me knows I'm a huge believer in in self-development, always really being into any type of book, audio on self-introspection and self-understanding cause well it's hard to be an invidual and see the world for what it is before you can do that inwardly.

Well, so of course I think having a life coach is not bad investment for those who really need someone to keep them on the ball with their projects and to help with all that introspection.

So check out my new friend Jaclyn Beckerman. SHe does a free sample session to determine if there's a good match, so why not see if it's something worth doing!

A new karaoke joint (the Midtown kind) plies you with free booze and, more importantly (though what's more important than free booze?), woos you with vintage radio-era themed decor. Asian tourists wil shit themselves. And their cameras will explode. Pity the soul responsible for cleaning up that mess.

The Cinema 16 series is one of the finer examples of curation, DIY spirit, and collaboration in Brooklyn-based entertainment. The premise is simple enough: obscure, visually engaging short films paired with live scores, written and performed for these films by local bands.

For this installment, Nick Yulman and the Bone Conductor Mechanical Orchestra score three films: Georges Méliès' magical short L'Homme Orchestre (One Man Band), Charles Bowers’ long-lost comical romp A Wild Roomer, and Maya Deren’s surrealist masterpiece Meshes of the Afternoon.

Jonathan Toubin's selections typically appeal to the kinds of kids who've already thrashed, clubbed, rocked, punked, slammed and slummed, and have finally settled into a comfortably stylish, faintly nostalgic place where dancing involves more twisting then bouncing.

This party's now-famous 1am dance contest is usually judged by a gaggle of local c-type celebrities – cute store owners, hot chicks, etc. The prize is half the door take, which at times can be upwards of $400 (not to mention the priceless bragging rights).
