I was thinking about all the governments stimulus efforts and thought maybe I should offer some insight on the next stimulus bill.

Well, I was thinking about it and realized the problem is that peple lost for jobs, so they need to find them. Where to find them? What a dilemma! I started thinking where do I find things that I lose, and then it hit me, whenever I lose my socks or keys I find them under the couch. So why not everyone look under the couch and end the unemplyment problem.

Then my girlfriend alerted me to the fact that everyone does not have a couch...

So the next stimulus bill should be...

Mouses for Couches

Bring a Mouse which will be used for government funded research on random things politicians and lobbyist deem important, and you'll be rewarded with a couch which you can look under for a job.

Can't say there is much going on, I've posted some important media in the music and economics sections of the site but lately I've been focusing on mainly my work at Greico Financial Training as an instructor and spending time with my GF becky. Don't worry, I go lots of stuff in the works, and there is plenty of stuff floating around to keep you entertained.

My old laptop in which I record podcasts and audio has got to the best buy in the sky... so sad about it, I probably lost some important files, but I'll realize that later I guess. Also while I've gotten over my cold, I still have a damn cough and it's really annoying.

Being Sick is No Good

THis weekend I was unbearably sick, it's over now, but so is the weekend so another weekend with not much in the way of updates. I've been twittering of course and uploading a new pic here and there, but I know you all want more than that.

I been passing out those Alex Merced shirts, if you know me, make sure to ask me for one while supplies last.

Otherwise I'm gonna head out before my whole weekend is wasted.

What I have lacked in social life I have definetley made up for in shopping, I've been getting rid of a lot of my ties that I don't like or won't ever wear and replacing them with an ever growing supply awesome ties. How much clothes can one man accumulate is a good qustions... I'm already getting to many comparisons to ismelda marcos.

Oh well, in other news, work is going pretty awesome, I love my job it's pretty much my social life at the moment and I just need to find the energy to work on some of my other side projects and record podcasts and such.

Life can be time Consuming

You know what, life can be really time consuming. Luckily I really enjoy my job, especially the teaching part of it since I get to to talk about the very economic issues I talk about on the politics portion of this site. I been trying to keep up with everything on this site, so there is a new marketing blog post this week though I don't think we'll see a new episode of Panda vs.Shark till next week since I want to find a co-host.

Feel free to email me questions to answer in the different sections of the site on issues you'd like my opinion on and such.

Introducing the Geekspot Blog

I'm a huge fan of podcast from TheGeekBox.net and basically they just talk about whatever each week, mainly each other, lost, and burn notice. So I felt I Should create an outlet for my inner geek as well, and as former comic store owner and Suikoden fanatic I got plenty of geekiness to blog about and TV shows I'm a fan of.

So each week in the GeekSpot section of the site I will talk about Geeky aspects of my past and also post the latest episodes of shows I'm watching from hulu. I will also soon come out with complimentary podcast called Panda vs. Shark which will be a full blown AlexMerced.com podcast discussing everything on the site each week with the occasional friends joining in on the commentary.
